Homeland Security |
| RSVP of North Idaho is the recipient of grant funds to help
implement stronger efforts by local organizations in the service of Homeland
Security. Therefore, we are looking for volunteers who might be interested in
assisting law enforcement and emergency services agencies with the many issues
of security. Initial efforts are with the sheriffs' departments in the five
North Idaho counties, as well as the Post Falls Police Dept. and Idaho State
Patrol. Volunteers work at other sites that have
been and still are doing work that pertains to homeland security; such as, Civil
Air Patrol, Inland Northwest Blood Bank, etc. Senior volunteers conduct and
assist with neighborhood/rural patrols, clerical duties, training of volunteers,
and public education. If you or someone you know has the
skills and desire to volunteer in the many developing facets of this Homeland
Security effort, RSVP would love to hear from you! |
